CP+ 2018最終日、フィルターホルダー「S5」を入手 / I received the S5 filter holder on the last day of CP+ 2018 in Yokohama

NiSiのブースに張り付いて、毎日セミナーも担当した４日間。疲れたけれど楽しかった。セミナーのときには実際に使っている機材をバッグから取り出してセット。その後はいつも、終了時間までそのまま展示のように置きっぱなしにしていた。

そして最終日になって気がついた。置きっぱなしは、もったいない。

そんなわけで置きっぱなしのふりをして、カメラに30分間仕事をしてもらった。

使ったのはND1000。シャッターが開いているときに、トニーさんが次のためにと説明すべき内容をレクチャーし始めたから、僕らだけ中央に、ブレながらも実体として残ってしまった（笑）。

イベント終了後、150システムの新しいフィルターホルダー・システム「S5」のキットを預かった。12-24mmの旧ホルダーと入れ替えて、これから活躍してもらおうと思う。

今回はとりあえず、キットの内容を紹介したい。

I helped NiSi to operate their booth at CP+ 2018. I also held the seminar about ND filters four times. I got tired but had great fun. During the seminar, I always took my gear out of the bag in front of the audience, and left it as sort of like a part of NiSi's product display.

And on the last day, I realized that I should "use" it instead of just leaving it. So my camera worked for 30 minutes and captured the booth.

After we closed the booth, I received a new S5 filter holder kit. I replace my old holder for Nikon's 14-24mm with the brand-new holder.

This time, I'll introduce what is included in the S5 kit.

「S5」専用ケース。背部にベルクロ仕様のループがあり、三脚の脚に取り付けたりできる。
The exclusive bag for the S5 kit. There is a loop with Velcro tape. The bag can be attached to a tripod leg.

ケースを開けると、こんな風にフィルターホルダーとレンズアダプターが入っている。
The filter holder and lens adapter is inside the bag like this.

セットに含まれるC-PLフィルターはサイドポケットに収納。このフィルターは巨大で直径約15センチ。
The C-PL filter included in the set can be stored in the side pocket. This filter is huge. It's about 15 centimeter in diameter.

アダプターは装着部分全体を回転させて締め付ける仕様になったため、絶対にフードから外れなくなった。
You can turn the ring to make the adapter fit the lens hood. The new adapter will never fall off from the lens.

フィルターホルダーはほかのレンズアダプターと共用できる。最近の大玉レンズにも対応するためフィルターを挟むスリットが２枚分しかないのが少々残念。
The filter holder is compatible with a different adapter. It holds up to two square filters. I wish it held three ...

日本語訳を担当した取扱説明書。僕はなんの人だ（笑）。ちなみに製品ラインアップを紹介するパンフレットの日本語もすべて担当した。
I translated the instruction manual for NiSi. I also write Japanese explanation for their new product leaflet.

何よりもアダプターが強固にレンズに固定できるようになったことが大きい。ガラス製のフィルターを割る心配が減って何よりだ。

One of the great advancements is that the filter folder will never fall off from the lens. Now I don't have to so worry about breaking glass filters by dropping them on the ground :)
