Ah, I am not telling you I am look nicer on those chains.
I have no idea who Sato-san on the left and Hiroko-san are.
But Sato-san seems to live near my office. It says 和泉町(Izumi-cho).
And Hiroko-san lives in 上北沢 (Kami-Kitazawa) near my home.
I hope they are and will be happy together.
It was cloudy all the time
after I shot the clear sky this morning.
But I got luck when I shot this.
Clear sky in the morning makes people happy!
Those trees at the bottom right are rather tall,
but comparing to the size of the sky, they look so tiny.
Do you see the bird flying beyond the trees?
This building used to be the annex of Odaku department store,
but now most of the floors are occupied by a Bic Camera.
Odakyu department store in Shinjuku.
It was there since I was a small kid.
I remember that I l lost at the toy department there,
and asked a clerk to call my mom.
Even as a child it was embarassing
to hear my name in the announcement.
The sunshine breaks through the clouds
for a limited time in the morning.
Now is the time to celebrate spring!
It's the ceiling of a hamburger shop.
I gave my grandmother a ride to a hospital for a medical checkup.
While I was waiting, I saw the buildings
which were awarded by a local government.
THIS IS THE SLIDE I DEFINITELY WANT TO TRY!!
It's at a small park I pass every day.
I have to see how I can climb up to the top next time!
It's not somei yoshino,
a cherry tree which is most famous,
but this pink cherry tree is the best
and the main tree at the temple near the office.
I can't wait to see its flowers.
What you can see on the background is the temple bell.
The coldness has come back,
but I can't help but walk around during the lunch break.
I bet many of you do the same thing :-)
It's nice to recerive a gift like this unexpectedly.
I couldn't find out what made this happen,
but I enjoyed seeing it for a while.
What we really want is often beyond our reach.
People rush home, but I would rather take time.
Why not enjoy hints of spring?
The sunlight was so beautiful this afternoon.
Even these small plants just outside of my house
on the asphalt looked wonderful!
The company building on the right.
The station nearby is on the left.
And above in the sky, there's the sun I need most.
I tried some shot of these flower from abve,
because I thought they looked nice on the brown soil.
But soon I missed the sun :-p
I found a slide set at a nearby park.
Nobody was around there
so I wanted to try it myself,
but sadly it was too narrow for my hips.
This is the first bird shot of mine.
It's the first time for me to see
this kind of duck in the middle of Tokyo.
I think their black feather go well
with the black edges of this photo ;-)
After the meeting we had in Shinjuku,
I enjoyed the morning sun outside :-)
This morning I rode my bike past them,
released the shutter in my mind,
thought again about them,
turned back to them, and shot them.
I lost valuable ten minutes in the morning.
I had long wanted to shoot a barber near by.
What I originally wanted to to shoot was
the three-color-stripe sign barbers set up in front of their shops.
But I noticed this old illusrations and I much like this!!
The illustraion moves when you see from different angles!
I shot this sitting at the desk of the office.
As you can tell, it's a desktop calendar,
of which illustrastions are done by a friend of mine.
He has contributed so many illustrations to us,
and is now involved in so many big projects
with vairous companies .
One of them is an animation project.
It is now in production in Spain.
I can't wait to see it!

Skyline GT-R
My father used to drive this.
Not this tiny one but an actual Nissan.
You can get one by buying a can of Wonda.
Not the actual one but this tiny toy.
Reflected Piet Mondrian
There's a modern-looking house nearby.
I found the projected sunlight from the windows was quite interesting.
Those cats are only 7 months old.
They need to work out to reduce their weights!
So this is how I helped them ;-)
I thought I might be able to see
one or two hasty cherry blossoms but I didin't find any.
Instead, I saw the moss on their trunks were producing flowers.
They are flowers, aren't they?
If so, they must be the tiniest flowers I have ever seen!
I visited a friend of mine and saw him.
He is one of the two cats living in the house,
and is the older one so he's called "兄 - ani -",
which means "big brother."
It's hard to shoot a cat in a rather dark room,
so I set the ISO to 400, and gained grains here.
It's part of one of billboards at the nearby station shot from behind.
I was reminded of Mondrian's paintings,
or the national frags of some northan European countries.
Urban Night Aquarium
I found these wall paintings on my way home.
I didn't know that there are so many adorable creatures!
I guess they were painted by kids from a school nearby.
One of my colleague is going on maternity leave.
So we went to a cozy restaurant near the office,
wishing her to give birth to a healthy child ;-)
Hmmmm
The trees alongside of a building
was lighted beautifully.
I wanted to capture it but failed.
It seemed a litle too dark to shoot.
I have no idea what it is.
I like its shape and colors.
An interesting thing about this white flower is
that it was just outside of the flowerbed,
which was occupied by panies.
This white flower might have been inside of
the flowerbed last year, and the seeds or roots
were left outside there. I love its vitality!
Green Flowers
I walked around the office at the lunch time,
but there was nothing much to see in a typical residential area.
These plants were on the track side of a local railway.
They were green but I realized they were flowers
when I saw them closely.
I wouldn't realize that if I hadn't had a camera.
Tokyo International Forum
The ceiling of this building looks like a bottom of a boat.
But I am interested in this woody wall.
The lighting is quite nice, isn't it?
If you want to see the ceiling,
seach "Tokyo International Forum" on flickr.
You will find many of them.
