CP+ 2018、第三日目 / The third day at CP+ 2018 in Yokohama

CP+ 2018の３日目。今日は部長を務める「東京夜間写真部」による「一日限りの横浜夜間写真部」の部活も開催された。写真は打ち上げ（僕は打ち上げからしか参加できなかったが…）の後に撮った写真。

「何かとりあえず一枚撮っておかなければ、ブログが更新できない！」

僕のそんな魂の叫びを聞いた友人が、その歩道橋の上は首都高が見えて良さそうだというので、行って撮った。左の入口レーンが明るくて、トラックの屋根などが反射して写り込んだため、光跡はあまり美しくならなかったけれど、首都高は首都高。

大好きな首都高。この場所をめざとく見つけた友人に感謝。

打ち上げ会場から駅方面に向かうまでに撮った、そのほかの写真をいくつか紹介したい。

It was the third day of CP+ 2018 in Yokohama. After the show, Tokyo Night Photography Club, in which I'm acting as the club leader, had a photo walk and a drinking party.

I couldn't make it to the photo walk but joined the party anyway. After the party, I walked around Minatomirai district with some of my friends because I needed to take some photos for this blog entry. A friend of mine kindly suggested that I capture the expressway from the pedestrian bridge we saw right after we got out of the party venue.

I took more photos in the district, so I'll show you some below.

映画『トロン』かと思った。ソフトフィルターを付けていたので、さらに変なことに。
This incredible car reminded us of the movie, Tron. I had mounted a soft effects filter on the lens, so the lights looked even more strange.

ランドマークプラザ。円の中央にいるのは友人。わざわざあそこまで走った。
It was the inside of the Landmark Plaza. The person in the center circle is my friend. He ran to that spot.

おなじみのオブジェ。友人たちが写り込む。
It's a famous object at Landmark Tower.

で、時間を巻き戻してCP+ 2018の様子を少し。このためのブログだった。

NiSiのブースでは、午後に花火写真の専門家、金武武さんがセミナーを開催。
Mr. Takeshi Kanetake held a seminar at NiSi's booth. He talked about how to take photos of firework displays.

Kiponのブースで見つけた気になるレンズ。ピンク色なのが気になった。
It is the lens I found at Kipon's booth. The pink color was outstanding.

CP+ 2018、第二日目 / The second day at CP+ 2018 in Yokohama

CP+ 2018の２日目。この日は営業終了後にNiSiの担当者トニーさんと夜景の散歩。NDフィルターのセミナーを連日担当しているのに、NDフィルターを使わないで帰るなんてけしからん…とトニーさんに言われたわけではないけれど、ND8を使って夜景撮影をした。

普通に撮ればISO 64、ｆ/9で8秒の場所だったから、ND 8を噛ませて60秒と少しの露光。現像時には今気に入っているトーンカーブを当て、さらにEVをプラスに振って現像したのがこれ。

平日のみなとみらいは明るいな。

寒風が思いのほか身にしみたので、訪れたのはこの場所一カ所だけ。でも、さすがに一家っとじゃ話にならない！ということで、ここから正反対を向いて（笑）もう一枚撮った。

それが下の写真。

It was Day 2 of CP+ 2018. After the event, Tony-san from NiSi and I took a walk. I am in charge of NiSi's seminars every day, so I feel it necessary to use one or two NiSi filters during that walk.

We went to a spot where the buildings in Minatomirai district is located across the river. Without a filter, the camera settings are ISO 64, F/8 and 8 second. With the ND 8, the exposure time was about one minute.

When post-processing the photo, I used one of my favorite tone curves and the raised the EV by one step.

The wind was so cold, so Tony-san and I decided to leave the spot. Before leaving, I pointed the camera in the opposite direction and captured the Ferris wheel.

観覧車にNDを当てると面白い。

14-24mmの広角を使ったのはここまで。次はレンズを24-70mmに替えて、フィルター撮影にいそしむトニーさんをスナップすることにした。

It was fun to used the ND 8 on the illuminated wheel.

I wanted to leave there, but Tony-san was still taking photos. I changed lenses to the 24-70mm and captured his fighting posture.

スナップしたのはいいものの、先日からソフトフィルターを付けていることを忘れていた。せっかくだから、ソフトな効果で観覧車ももう一度。いいな、このソフトフィルター。NiSiもソフトフィルター作らないかな。

I forgot taking off the soft effects filter I had mounted the other day .. I like the effect though. Look at the Ferris wheel through that filter. I liked the softness.

CP+ 2018、第一日目 / The first day at CP+ 2018 in Yokohama

「CP+ 2018」が今日から始まった。僕は連日、NiSi Filtersのブースにいる。フィルターワークのセミナーも行っているので、お時間があればぜひ、いらしていただきたい。

セミナーでは普段使っている機材を持って出ているので、せっかくならと一日一枚、横浜で撮って帰ろうかと思う（なんて言いながら、初日で終わる可能性もある）。

初日はドックヤードガーデン。ランドマークタワーのすぐ下にある、かつてのドックを保存した広場だ。帰りがけにのぞいたら、音楽と光のコラボレーションが行われていたので、その真中の♡を撮ってきた。

でも、これだけだとCP＋っぽさが伝わらないので、下にNiSiのブースで撮った写真も入れておこうと思う。

CP+ 2018 started today. I'm at NiSi Filters booth every day. I also hold a seminar on ND filters every day. If you have time, please stop by.

I bring all the gear for the seminar, so there's no reason to leave Yokohama without any photo, so I decided to take at least one photo every day. Having said that, It's possible to drop the idea and this might be the last one ...

Anyway, this is the first night shot. It is Dockyard Garden located at the foot of Yokohama Landmark Tower. It used be a real dockyard, which is now used as an event space. I heard music and saw lights from the street nearby. When I got closer to the dock, I noticed a heart sitting at the center.

It's hard to tell you about the CP+ event only with the night photo, so I'll paste some I took at NiSi's booth today below.

横浜・みなとみらい / Minatomirai, Yokohama

新しいS5システムのキット。ニコン14-24mm用。これ、欲しい。

僕のカメラも展示。奥はNiSiがFacebookで開催したコンテストの優秀作品。
I displayed my own gear. The photos on the wall in the background are winners of the contests NiSi held on Facebook.

僕の三脚。安定感抜群。使いやすくて気に入っている。
My tripod. It's stable and tough. I love it.

フィルター装着中の僕のカメラ。みんなカメラスリングを眺めていく。
My camera with a filter holder. Everyone came looking at the camera sling I use.

おみやげにスマホ用の角型フィルターとホルダーをもらった。手伝いに来てよかった(^O^)

今回の機材

ND1000＋GND8で横浜ベイブリッジを撮る / Captured Yokohama Bay Bridge with NiSi's ND1000 and GND8 Filters

横浜の大黒ふ頭に行った。以前はここから上れた横浜ベイブリッジのスカイウォークも閉鎖されて久しい。周辺は手入れされないまま放置された感じで、寂しい。釣り人天国。そのほかには誰もいない。来る理由もない、そんな場所になっていた。

殆どの場所は立入禁止で歩き回る余地もないので、すぐにアングルを決めて撮影に入った。釣り人のじゃまにならないように、また、逆に釣りざおで邪魔されないように気を使いながら。

薄雲で面白みのない空でNDフィルターを使った長時間露光。

さて、どんな風に仕上がるのか。

使ったのはNiSiのAR ND 1000とAR GND 8の2枚。後者はフィルターの上に行くに従って暗く写るようになっているグラデーション仕様のフィルターだ。

結果はというと、静かな「記憶の中の風景」のような一枚になった。

参考までにノーフィルターの風景はこんな感じ。

I visited Daikoku Pier in Yokohama. Usually people see Yokohama Bay Bridge from Yamashita Park or Osanbashi International Passenger Terminal, so the pier is located on the other side of the bridge. From there, we used to go up Sky Walk, the pedestrian passage on the bridge and enjoy the view of the bay from above. The passage has been closed for a long time. People have stopped visiting this side of the bridge, so I saw only fishers when I visited there.

Most of the places have off-limit signs. There was nothing to see but the bridge itself. So I started to take photos as soon as I got there, trying not to bother the fishers, and not to be bothered by their fishing rods.

There was no cloud in the sky. Using ND filters might have not been a good idea but I tried anyway. The result is the one at the top. I kind of like the faded colors. It looks like a scene in a distant memory. What do you think?
