The cherry blossoms were enveloped in the warm sunlight

Following the previous blog entry, I want to show you some more cherry blossoms photos I captured in Saigoyama Park in Meguro.

I used a soft effects filter on the 105mm macro lens that day. The filter is Kenko's Black Mist No. 1. The explanation reads that the dark section of the photos will come out black, not without haze and is good for night photos. So I have no other choice when I buy a soft effect filter. I like to shoot at night as some of you know :)

The cherry tree in Saigoyama Park in Meguro had become bees' paradise

There was a cherry tree in Saigoyama Park in Megoru, which blooms at this time of year. I missed it last year, so I went there when the flowers were blooming.

When I arrived at the tree, I noticed there was one thing different from the past. A lot of bees were flying around the tree and enjoying its nectar. I hadn't seen such number of bees there before, so I suspected there was a honeycomb near the tree.

So I have selected the photos in which bees are having good time :)

I brought a 105mm macro lens with me. I only use it several times in a year, and in most of the cases I used it in my garden ...

A New Lives in Spring

I visited Keio Mogusaen, one of the gardens along the railway I often take. It was packed with new green and flowers when I pay a visit. I thought I had visited this garden a long time ago, but I didn't remember the place at all. Anyway, I hope you'll feel refreshed by my photos.

Photo Data
Camera: Nikon D810

A magic of nature.
Tall Azalea.
I got close to the flowers to see them, but there had already been small visitors.
So I decided to look at another flower, but there also had been a visitor.
The light patterns on the pond were beautiful.
I tried a different spot at the pond. Oh, there was a previous visitor on a leaf.
Curls.
Curls again.
What flowers are they?
The last stage of azalea flowers.
I found you!
I couldn't figure out what they were with my bare eyes.
A spider that has a translucent belly.
In the sunlight.
More flowers in the sunlight.
So many spores!
I enlarged them with a macro lens.
The end.
The start.

I saw impressive old trees outside of Mogusaen garden. I later found out that they were in the premises of Mogusa Hachiman Shrine right next to the garden. I didn't expect to see such nature right out there.

It was dim even in the middle of a day.
Look how it stands there! Awesome.
This is the tree I saw from the garden.
This tree had a red eye!
See?

The red eye on the tree actually was a red mushroom. Wow ...
