Google Plus 5th Anniversary Event in Tokyo

We had an event that commemorating the 5th anniversary of Google Plus. I've been using that service since Day 1, so it's the 5th anniversary of mine too. I met so many people through the service both online and offline. That's why I'm so thankful to the service.

So I was determine to talk with the other 100 participants that day, but when we started to walk from Tokyo Skytree that day, I came up with the idea and headed in the opposite direction alone.

After I checked several spots, I set my Gorillapod on the railing of a bridge. The angle and composition were decided. But, when I tried to mount the ND filters on the lens, the worst thing for this kind of photo happened. A boat came in!

I wanted to capture the reflection of Skytree, but my attempt failed ... I lost more than an hour for this. So, the photos below are the record of the lonely walk during the photowalk of 100 people.

Anyway, I was heading back to Skytree.
I took a side trip when I saw clips.
Another side trip when I was a tiny flower.
And one more side trip when I saw such a color combination.

One and a half hour later, I came back to the starting point, where I saw one of the organizers of the event was still there. He was waiting for some participants who were planning to join the event half way through the event. We took a brief break and enjoyed an ice-cream cone.

I thought of just waiting there for the other members to come back for a moment, but I just dropped the idea and off I went.

Is it a kind of board game?
Oh, fish were swimming.
I saw a character for a different town. Go home, buddy.
It was a very old sign indicating there was a pay phone and the shop dealt with telegram service. Of course, not any more.
Took a selfie. Where were the other participants?
I loved the color combination.
Those clips cuddling each other looked kind of cute.
What are you looking at? And what animal are you?
I saw a ghost.

When I reached the halfway point, no one was around there. I texted one of the organizers and he let me know that they were having lunch. I gave up joining them, and heading back to the starting point.

I knew later that one of my friends had captured exactly the same composition.
Loved the contrast of the two colors.
Reach higher!
It said it wanted to get down. I didn't give it a hand.
It was the first time to capture someone that day :p
The owner was in a hurry apparently. To the bathroom?
What does that mean?
The famous building near Asakusa designed by Philippe Starck.
A huge poop. Or so we called it.
Finally I met friends. One of them showed off his new camera.
I succeeded in meeting my friends, so ... I started to walk alone again.
Someone was peeking at me.
That guy looked lonelier.
You'll get stuck if you come this way.
There were a lot of eyes on the walls.
They looked interested in me.
I want to eat you up!
Good. I got a friend at last!

I walked alone half the time of the event last year, so this was the second time. Next time, I will walk with friends and enjoy conversations.
