北の空の光 / Lightning in the Northern Sky

友人から「北の空が変だよ」というメールをもらったから、窓の外をのぞいてみた。花火のような音がする。そして、入道雲が光っていた。高いところからゴロゴロいう音が出ると、反響少なく花火の音のように聞こえることを今日知った。でも、稲妻が見えなくなっても音がしてたから、やっぱり花火の音だったのかな。

A friend of mine sent me an e-mail to let me know the northern sky looked weird. When I opened the window, I heard explosive sounds like fireworks and saw some sparks. I'm not sure if they were the sounds came from the real fireworks display somewhere or if they were the thunders. Anyway, I enjoyed an interesting scene.
