A Trip to Meet the Elephant from the Train Window

I had something to do in Shinjuku. So after i finished it, I started to take a walk. There was no destination. I just walked to the east this time without thinking where to go. But at a certain point, I changed directions and headed to the south. I decided to see an elephant-shaped play equipment in a park I often saw from the train window.

The photo walk started from Kabukicho, but I felt uncomfortable with a huge DSLR. I didn't take many photos and passed the town :p
Somewhere in Kabukicho, Shinjuku.
People were getting ready for the summer festival.
The design was interesting, but I thought it would be better to have one ladder and one could make a horizontal move on each floor.
Shadows were playing in front of a university.
There were a lot of narrow alleys. The houses were rather new.
A Shadow was playing on a shop wall.
When I took a photo of flowers, it was a sign that I was getting bored.
I hated to get bored, so I continued shooting. This is the entrance of a big launderette. Of course, it was open 24 hours.
Shadow of the leaves were playing on a house wall.
What kind of books has this book bindery made?
I wish someone was passing by, but no one was on a narrow road.
Shadow of roses. I liked the vertical lines of the wall.
Flowers on the edge of a school ground. Every time someone was passing by, I tried to greet him/her when I was taking this photo because I didn't want to look suspicious.
It said one of the last samurais died here. He was a one of the key person who lived at the end of samurai-ruled period.
I found small leaves on the stairs of pedestrian bridge. I soon realized they were tiny ginkgo leaves. Wow.
It was the first time I had seen Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden from outside of the main entrance.

It was good to see the elephant but I found out a sad thing about it. The blog entry is getting long, so I'll tell you about it in the next time!
